Acajatuba
Acajatuba is an affluent lake region of the Negro River, where some riverside communities meet, among them is Our Lady of Perpetual Help, where our experience takes place. The community is on the right bank of the Rio Negro, located 60 km from Manaus. In addition, it belongs to the Rio Negro Sustainable Development Reserve, a conservation unit, along with 18 other riverside communities.
His foundation dates back to 1976 and his community name is due to a fact that occurred with the community founder's uncle: after he and his family faced a severe storm as they crossed the canoe river, he pleaded with the saint for his devotion and help. , when they survived, decided to name the community with the same name, according to Susy Simonetti.
The community is surrounded by Amazonian natural beauty, talents and community protagonists, and warm and welcoming hosts.
